Features

High density

A wider plate exposure latitude provides ease of use while less "pin- hole" makes for trouble-free production. The high density also helps to retain the small dot in plate making.

Clear base

Its excellent contacting characteristics reduce exposure and save time. Its attractive visual appearance gives it an aesthetic appeal that is popular with users.

Excellent dot quality

It reproduces all dot sizes accurately which in effect upgrades the entry level recorder. It provides the highest dot quality available for fine screen work and also improves dot quality on low end output units. This leads to high fidelity repro without adjustment, more consistent plate copies and, correspondingly, better press performance as well as being easier to use on a day to day basis.

Very high contrast

This provides a linear response, requires very little calibration ultimately saving users' time.

Anti-scratch surface

The anti-scratch surface eliminates black pressure lines that can otherwise appear on clear films. This delivers trouble-free processing, saving time on remakes or corrections as well as increasing productivity and reducing costs.

High batch-to-batch consistency

Batch to batch consistency means that there is no need to recalibrate the recorder when changing rolls of film, which offers users significant time savings and reduced costs.

Lower replenishment rates

Replenishment rates for Fujifilm's HQ Chemistry are up to 50% less than competitors' fourth generation systems, making it far better value for money. In addition, there is no need for a weekly turnover of the developer tank as with some competitor systems, making it easier to use and less time consuming. The Fujifilm system also generates less waste than its competitors and requires less chemical handling which means there is less waste collection and lower labour input.

Very stable developer

Stable calibration conditions increase productivity, require fewer chemistry changes and generally facilitate usage.

Compatible with rapid access system films

HQ Chemistry can be used in conjunction with Rapid Access System films making stock holding arrangements easier.
