PlateRite PT-R6600
The PlateRite PT-R6600 is a B2+ thermal platesetter catering for high capacity, larger format commercial web and sheet-fed presses. Available in a number of versions, it is capable of producing up to 30 (S version) press ready plates per hour in semi-automatic or fully automatic mode.

With a maximum plate size of 980mm x 685mm x 0.3, the PT-R6600 is compatible with most B2 presses. Integrated punching enables the production of press ready plates for most B2 commercial sheetfed presses. Custom punches are available, as are a range of offline transfer punches to meet all formats. The system also operates without press punches to accommodate web formats.
Three configurations of the PT-R6600 allow the system to develop as your business grows
Three configurations exist with the PT-R6600. In its base form, the platesetter will require manual loading and provide automatic unloading to either an online processor or plate stacker. If full automation is required, a single cassette autoloader and multi-cassette autoloader are available. With single cassette (one plate size at any time) a capacity of 100 plates are held online, the system will auto de-interleaf as the plates are automatically fed through to the engine. The multi-cassette autoloader accommodates up to 3 cassettes, each with a capacity of up to 100 plates. It can automatically de-interleaf and select from one of the three cassettes.
Easy to use, service and maintain
Benefiting from up to 64 (S version) independent laser diodes, production is maintained should one of the diodes fail. Replacement of the defective diode is a quick task for the trained engineer, unlike some other thermal systems where the complete imaging head could require replacement.
Up to 30 x B2 press ready plates an hour (at 2400dpi)
Utilising some of the latest thermal imaging technology, the PT-R6600 produces up to 30 x B2 plates per hour at 2400dpi (18pph with the E version). The E version can accept a field upgrade to increase productivity up to 30 plates per hour.
High quality and productive plate making when used with Fujifilm Brillia thermal CTP plates
The PT-R6600 achieves optimal performance when used with Brillia thermal CTP plates including the new processless plate, Brillia HD PRO-T. The high sensitivity of the plates allows the platesetter to image at its fastest speed.
With CTP so close to the press, you can't afford to take risks
Launched in 2000, the original PT-R4000 established an excellent reputation for quality and reliability. The PT-R6600, whilst being a new design, benefits from many of the previous technical advances. With various automated options available, the system defines the new benchmark in high performance commercial print CTP.
