PlateRite PT-R8600
The PlateRite PT-R8600 is a mid range B1+ external drum thermal platesetter available in a number of versions, capable of producing up to 22 (S & Z versions) B1 press-ready plates per hour in manual, semi automatic or fully automatic configurations.

Around Drum = Platesize less 24mm (using 12mm head and tail clamps) or platesize less 16 mm (using 8mm head and tail clamps); Across Drum = Same as Plate size.

Manual (also known as semi-automatic because once the plate is presented to the platesetter it is then automatically loaded and unloaded from the drum). This configuration is also available with a bridge to the processor. Automatic, single cassette autoloader and bridge. Automatic, multi cassette autoloader and bridge.
* For automated configurations, plates are loaded into the cassette with interleaf paper. The interleaf is then automatically removed by the system prior to plate loading. Multi cassette autoloader is supplied with 3 cassettes as standard, a further 2 can be added. A cassette can accommodate up to 100 plates. - Media size
